Besides the grammatical issue, the word is not Zechusim, it is Zechuyos, I am saddened by the attitude towards the Din on Rosh Hashanah. Mitzvos and Aveiros are not Brownie points, in which we are simply trying to pile up as many points as we can. Viewing them as such is a very self-centered view of Judaism. Frankly, I believe that it is wrong that children are encouraged so much to be bringing to school Mitzvah Notes and the like to see how many they can get. This leads to a very simplistic view of what is, and isn't important in Judaism. Buying your way to a good judgement is not the way to go about it. It is like a husband who thinks that as long as he showers his wife with jewelry then he has a good marriage.
God wants our hearts. God wants a relationship with us. To whatever extent numbers show that relationship, great. But it is the relationship that counts, not the numbers. If you want to support this organization, then do so because of your love for Hashem, because of your love for the Mitzvah it is promoting, because of your love for the people who will be helped by your donation. But don't try to "buy zechusim," the zechuyos that are bought are not worth anything compared to those that are earned.
