From God's perspective everything in the world is equal; there is nothing more important or less important. God was who He is before the world was created and has not changed since. It is only from the perspective of things within creation, creatures that are themselves lacking, that there are more important things and less important things. This results from the fact that in a small minded state one cannot grasp all that is around him. If man finds something good or beneficial he is reluctant to leave go of it lest he lose what he has.
